The Magic in Stillness.

Revel in silence long enough to hear others speak and when they do, listen. Too often, we become distracted by thoughts steeped in our insecurities and gilded by our fears.

A constant churning of emotions. Noise.

Be still; listen

You might not always like what you hear, but hold on to it with earnest reverence and devoid of your estimations.

Act on it in good faith. With no reservations, selflessly.

Pray for discernment after you have listened. Honor wishes. Usher in truths.

Then breathe. No guilt. No regrets. Breathe.

Plunge into a journey; visit the depths of yourself, and find the courage to explore the unknown. Uncertainty breeds innovation.

Know fear. Charge toward it without reservation. Inquiry, the need to understand, introspection, a quest for a constant challenge; these should be your igniters.

It’s a lonely road sometimes. You spend hours entrenched in your deepest thoughts, examining those most intimate parts of your soul, but, on the upside, you’ll find that life opens up to you. Take it apart piece by piece, and you’ll find answers as you look within; it will all unfold beautifully.

Nothing progressive happens when we stay stagnant, but ideas and productive thought percolate in stillness; the magic is not stifled by inertia. On the contrary, stillness is an incubator; stay still long enough to make a breakthrough.

Unearth your spirituality. Whether metaphysical or physical, your belief system almost always aligns with energy and its particular course. We tend to associate energy with up and down movement. The latter is often viewed as unfavorable. Yet, we all seek the positive in life. So we look up, we move up, we live up, we stand up. You get the point.

Make sure that it is with every gracious and good intent to lift another when you look down. Do not trample on the unspoken for, nor underestimate the meek. Instead, look up to the stars to find your rhythm and when you do, maintain its cadence.

May blessings cascade your pathways, and good graces line your endeavors. Fix your eyes in the skies. Not lustily or without intent, but with purpose, and yes, with love.
